More MAC Give Me Liberty of London: MAC Dirty Plum Blush

While at the MAC counter last week picking up my MAC Art Supplies haul, I couldn't quite resist the packaging of the Give Me Liberty of London sitting on the shelves. Initially, I had resisted Dirty Plum due to it being permanent at PRO stores. With a PRO store in easy reach, I though I'd pick it up at a later date. But no, the limited edition factor just made me cave.

Beyond the packaging, the shade itself is a matte dark plum. It's just right for a non-shimmery cheek. Being an NC40 gal, this is great shade of plum that is not too brown to look muddy. The formula is rich, well pigmented and requires a light hand to apply. A little bit of this goes a long way. So just a dab with a 129 brush or try a 187 or 188 brush to prevent the look of too much blush.

I am liking this blush a lot. Just a bit of Dirty Plum with eyeliner, mascara and pink lipgloss is an easy everyday look for me. Until next the Art Supplies review, enjoy the Dirty Plum swatch. :)

  1. Great color, yea? It's one of those colors you can put on and feel like your makeup is just DONE with little much of anything else on.
