FOTD: Taupe & Pewter Smokey Eyes with Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol. 2

Here's another look using the Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol. II. As I prefer, its about the eyes. This time around I'm using pale silvery beige, taupe and pewter. To balance it out, I used MAC Tippy Beauty Powder Blush from the MAC Hello Kitty Collection. Just goes to be shown that you can use a bright blush lightly and not look like a clown ;) I must say, I can't believe I haven't been using the UD Book of Shadows Vol. II as much as I should. I'm quite enjoying it and extremely excited for the Urban Decay Disney Alice in Wonderland palette. I just got it in the mail this last Friday, so product pictures, review and swatches are on there way :)

What I used:
Eyes:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
MAC Paint Pot, Bare Study
MAC Eye Shadow, Chamomile
Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol II, Sellout, YDK, Mushroom, Gunmetal
Urban Decay 24/7 Liner, Stash
MAC Studio Fix Lash Mascara, Black Fix
MAC Fluidline, Blacktrack

Cheeks:
MAC Beauty Powder Blush, Tippy
MAC Beauty Powder, Shell Pearl

Lips:
MAC Lipstick, Warm Me Up
MAC Lipgelee, Resort Life

Directions:
Apply UDPP to eyelids. Apply Bare Study all over lid with a MAC 249 brush. Apply Chamomile to brow bone with a MAC 252 brush. Apply Sellout to inner third of lid with a MAC 239 brush. Apply Mushroom to middle third of lid with a MAC 239 brush. Apply Gunmetal to outer third of lid with a MAC 239 brush. Apply Mushroom to crease and above crease with a MAC 217 brush. Line upper waterline with Blacktrack a MAC 208 brush. Line lower waterline with Stash. Line lower lashline with Gunmetal using a MAC 219 brush. Apply Tippy to cheeks with a MAC 187 brush. Apply Shell Pearl to cheeks and other desired areas to highlight with a MAC 165 brush. Apply Warm Me Up lipstick and top with Resort Life. Curl lashles and apply 3 coats of Black Fix mascara.

  2. Thanks Susie! It's one of my favorite sweaters. It has a giant pocket in the front to keep my hands warm. I think I paid $10 for that sweater about 3 years ago ;)
