Clarisonic MIA Sonic Skin Care Now Available @ The Shopping Channel

I was just browsing The Shopping Channel when to my delight they had the Clarisonic MIA featured on their main Beauty page. :) :) :) I've had this item on my wish list for the last 6 months, but to my dismay Sephora in Canada does not stock it (although they do stock the Classic Clarisonic & BCA Classic edition) and it is not available for shipping to Canada either. Big boo!!!! I've thought about getting it on Ebay, but I would prefer to order from a reputable and trust worthy dealer.

I've heard too many good things about the Clarisonic MIA (a smaller version of the Classic), I was actually tempted to go drive 4 hours to a US Sephora so I could have it. I didn't want the classic due to the size of the charger. I saw it in store at Sephora in town and went, "Yikes!" My bathroom counter is tiny, so I can only put a few items on it before it looks crowded. More than a soap dispenser, face wash, hair brush, tooth brush and tooth paste will make my counter look messy. The MIA was calling me! So thank goodness for The Shopping Channel!

Above: The Clarisonic MIA available at The Shopping Channel.

The Clarisonic MIA (Item #399664) from The Shopping Channel includes the following:

  • Cordless Clarisonic Mia
  • Compact pLink International Charger
  • Sensitive Brush Head
  • Trial Size Gentle Hydro Cleanser (1oz)
  • Bonus: Trial Size Refreshing Gel Cleanser (1oz)
  • Bonus: Trial Size Nourishing Gel Cleanser (1oz)
  • Bonus: Travel Cosmetic Bag
The 3 bonus items are not included with purchase at Sephora, so it's another 3 reasons to get it at TSC. It is only shown in white, but I wanted pink.

Pros for TSC:
  • TSC offers a 30 day return policy, so if you don't like it, it's really easy to send it back.
  • TSC customer service is excellent. I received a pair of Diamonelle earrings where a few stones had popped out. I called them up and they sent me a free return tag to send it back. They sent one out and I got it within a week.
  • TSC offers at least 4 Easy PayBulleted List payments. In other words, your cost, not including shipping and taxes that can be divided up into 4 equal payments over 4 months. That makes it much much more possible to get what you want.
  • They offer a lot of products, even high end ones, that sometimes go on sale. eg. They have a lot of Laura Gellar and DuWop on sale. Sadly, no colors that really entice me today.
  • They ship to CANADA!!! Because they're Canadian :)
I've been a huge fan of TSC for the last 8 years. I've gotten everything from Diamonelle platinum studs to Dr. Amo's cleaning supplies. I've also tried a bit of Jerome Alexander cosmetics and a few other beauty brands. TSC doesn't have full product lines, but will carry a few select products.

Cons for TSC:
  • I have to wait for the item to arrive in the mail. Roughly 7-10 days depending on how fast they move it into the mail.
  • They don't have a points system like Sephora. They were a part of Air Miles, but they no longer are.
In conclusion, I bought one. Too many good things to outweigh the cons. Total cost with shipping is $209.38 CAD. I was able to get 5 easy pays rather than 4. So my first payment will be $66.18 CAD and payments 2 to 5 will be $35.80 CAD each. I didn't need the easy pay, but its nice to have it available. So, for all my Canadian readers who want the Clarisonic MIA, they are available at The Shopping Channel :)

  1. Hi, I saw your comment on Temptalia about Zoya polishes. Are you located in Toronto, ON? If so, Trade Secrets has them =) It's like a hair/nail supply store where you can get hair cuts too. I think they are in other provinces as well. Good luck!

    Yay to Canadian Beauty Bloggers!

  2. I saw also about to jump on the this clarisonic, but I think I need to wait it out a bit more and hear more reviews. Can't wait for yous!

  3. Hey Babybblz,
I wish I was in Toronto sometimes, but I'm actually in Vancouver. But we do have Trade Secrets! I miss their points system though, I prefer it to the 10% discount. Yea, another reason for me to go down there. =) I couldn't help but jump on the MIA! I was thrilled to see it on TSC. It's over $60 in savings compared to getting the Classic model. That's another 3 MAC eye shadows or 2 replacement brush heads ;)

    Hey Cristina,
    Get it!!
